The Case Study
Overview
In order to understand the importance of parental involvement in students’ success, we follow a group of 100 students divided in two groups – Group A and Group B.
The Group A students have significant involvement from their parents in their maths learning, whereas the involvement is minimal in Group B students.
Key Findings
- Improved Academic Performance: The study showed the difference in academic performance between the two groups. There was a 30% rate of improvement in math scores among Group A students in comparison to Group B. It became evident that students who received consistent guidance and support from their parents performed significantly better in their math assessments.
- Better Problem-Solving Skills: Students in Group A showed better problem-solving skills. Credits behind this improvement go to the involvement of parents during practice sessions where they supervised or simply took part in the process.
