Mrs Lew has a former experience as a teacher in Maris Stella High School and Crescent Girls’ School. With a specialisation in Chemistry, she has over ten years of experience.
She is a NIE-trained teacher and is well-accustomed to tutoring subjects – Science, Maths and Chemistry. With a Science degree from NUS, she is able to breakdown Science and Mathematics concepts into bit size pieces for the students. Her experience in the academic field and her role as mother gives her the power to tutor students with utmost care, efficiency and patience.
She is also a published author of the book titled ‘O’ level Chem Practice Questions Classified Topic by Topic.
Mr Wong is a PGDE (merit) holder from NIE and has been a former faculty member at Fairfield Methodist Secondary School. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience making him one of the competent tutors of our team.
It is his belief that educators’ can help students’ achieve their academic goals by adapting a pedagogical style. Therefore, the instructional scaffolding provided must be intentional and purposeful. An experienced teacher who explains concepts very well.
Ms Ong is a former secondary school teacher and has earned 5 years of experience in teaching. It is her speciality to not just help students in improving their academic results but to also create a nurturing environment in her classes.
She has the expertise to offer quality tutoring for classes lower Sec Science/Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics for more than 10 yrs. Miss Ong has a Bachelor of Applied Science with Merits (Materials Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore(NTU) and a Diploma in Education (Post-Graduate) Secondary from National Institute of Education(NIE).
Miss Lim is a NUS graduate with a degree in Bachelor in Science (Chemistry). She’s also an NIE-trained PGDE( Post graduate Diploma in Education) diploma holder.

Mr Lim is an ex-secondary school teacher with more than 12 years of teaching experience. He specialises in Chemistry and Physics (secondary levels).

Mr Alfred firmly believes that understanding is key to doing well for any subject. A solid understanding coupled with effective answering techniques is fundamental for obtaining an A. That together with lots of practice and instant feedback and correction, is the perfect recipe for success. Past years papers and lots of supplementary questions will be provided as a form of additional practice for students. With a newly found appreciation of the subject, understanding come naturally. Content mastery becomes a breeze and learning will never be the same again. Mr Lim graduated with a Masters and PhD from School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Nanyang Technological University.

Mr Lin has an honours Science degree from NTU. He has teaching Science and Chemistry for more than 10 years. He is a very experienced teacher and explains concepts very well. He relates and gets along well with students and they clear their doubts with him easily. He has the ability to help weak students from their level and bring them to the next level, then ace the subject, Being well-liked and nurturing, he has a wealth of experience that he can share with his students. A former teacher with the MOE, Mdm Song has been tutoring for more than 20 years nurturing students of varied learning abilities to optimize their potential.
With fairly strong maternal instinct and equipped with years of managing children, Mdm Song naturally draws the students particularly with her patience and pleasant disposition.
Mr Tan is a very experienced A Maths and E Maths teacher. He has a lot of exposure teaching in schools. With more than 25 years of experience, students do very well under him. He is able to pick up your weakness, explain the concepts and drill you to do well for your Maths exams. He is able to point out exactly what to look out for in each question and give extensive exposure to different types of questions. He is a patient, caring, hardworking teacher who has helped many students improve their Maths grades tremendously. Many students have given him positive feedback and thanked him from the bottom of their heart for helping him. That is because Mr Tan never fail to put in his best effort to help each and every student.
Mr Boey graduated with Masters in Life Sciences (Chemistry). He has taught in many schools including IB Program, IP schools, Junior Colleges and private institutions. Throughout this time, he has gained a wealth of experience teaching Biology and Chemistry subjects.
On top of teaching the syllabus and concepts, Mr Benny gives a summary of main points and important examinable concepts in each topic and explains the common misconceptions of students in each topic. He links the topics in the subject to everyday situations. Prepared assignments given after each topic for students to practice and reinforce concepts that they have learnt. Answering techniques for basic factual and higher-order application questions is also taught.
Mr Matin, a physics graduate from NUS, is a former secondary school teacher of many years. He teaches physics and Secondary Science. Mr Matin believes that all students can do well in science and it is possible to get good grades when students have the right skills and attitude in learning Science. He also believes that Science should be experienced to be believed.
Mr Yang studied at Raffles Institution (Gifted Education Programme) and graduated from Raffles Junior College with straight As in all subjects, including Chemistry.
In 2002, he was awarded the Public Service Commission Scholarship (Education), and read Chemistry at the National University of Singapore (NUS). There, he was placed on the Dean’s List, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry, 2nd Upper Honors).
Mr Yang has had 4 years’of lecturing and tutoring experience at the Junior College level. During that time, his classes consistently ranked highly for value-addedness. He was effective, committed and responsible, and as a result of that, he was appointed subject coordinator for the GCE ‘A’ Level Science Practical Assessment (SPA) in his college.
Mr Yang firmly believes that each student has his/her own learning style, and students should therefore be guided towards developing personalized study methods which work best for them. He sees tuition, with its smaller class sizes as an ideal opportunity to do so.
Lastly, H2 Chemistry has become more challenging in recent years. The style of questioning has changed, and the papers are no longer as straightforward as they used to be.
To help students adapt to this recent trend of “novel” questions, Mr Yang has put in place a structured, three-tiered approach towards understanding the questions at the GCE ‘A’ Levels. He believes that arming students with a better understanding of the types of H2 Chemistry questions will ultimately help them obtain better grades.

Mr Ben Lim is an ex-school science teacher who has taught in both secondary and primary schools for many years. He is experienced, helping students from various academic backgrounds to improve their grades and gain confidence during exams. His emphasis on mastery of core concepts helps students to consistently apply key concepts to new situations and questions during exams. By imparting his joy for learning in science, he hopes to nurture a sense of achievement in his students. He has a Bachelor of Science ( Honours) degree from National Institute of Education.

She has 19 years of teaching experience as an Associate Lecturer at Republic Polytechnic and as a General Education Officer with the Ministry of Education teaching the secondary schools.
She has also been recognized for her dedication to student success, receiving iCARE award nominations in Republic Polytechnic that highlight her educational impact on her students.
