Motivation

Motivation is the motor that moves our world. Motivation is important for everybody. You may often hear about a lack of motivation at school or at work, where people have difficulty studying, doing homework, staying focused, or getting work done, but again the same kids will not face difficulty to remember the lyrics of their favorite songs. Many times in a student’s life, he harbours doubts about whether he can do well in a subject or if he can succeed in a particular task. That has happened to me too. Is there anyone around to let the student know that he can definitely do it? If he cannot fail in this task, what steps would he take? Would his outlook in that matter be different?

Most of the time, we need to let the students know we believe they can do it. If we strongly believe they can do it, students would be able to sense it. The way the students react and handle things would be different compared to a half-hearted student. The confident student is sure he can do things well and he does it with pride. We need to build up this confidence and belief in every student. Some students need to be taught these things though we are aware that some of them are natural leaders.

Everyone of us must have a goal (or a dream). That is the reason why you are excited to wake up every morning. The easiest way NOT TO FAIL is to give up. That is the shortcut most people take. Instead of saying I failed, they say they gave up. You do not need to be better than everybody else. All you have to do is to be better than you ever thought you could be.

Other than motivating students, daily self talk and how student think is also important. Miracle Learning Centre strongly believes in each and every student is unique and special. Students need to believe in themselves to bring out the miracle in them.
